History: Another situation where two animals were purchased from a pet store. The pet store either did not sex, or failed to sex correctly, leading to an unexpected litter. The financial pressure the pet store put on the family due to their irresponsible behavior required the family to reluctantly surrender the animals. We took half the family to start with.

Our females are kept in a large herd together, they are all familiar with one another. occasionally there is a female who is too bonded to another female and we will have to require them to be adopted together but that is the exception and not the rule.

(From speaking with the owner they were with the male for approximately a month before they were brought to us.
